Because French bulldogs make the world better. Every day. This blog has no commercial purpose whatsoever. I just LOVE frenchies! Feel free to submit your image: dailyfrenchie@gmail.com

I post pictures of dogs that I have found in the interwebs and try to give a link for the original source, if possible. In case you are a photographer and want me to remove your picture, drop me a note and I will gladly do this.
Good things come in small packages and Latte is no exception! However, what Latte lacks in size, she makes up in personality! She is approximately a year old, spayed and quite healthy.
Initially purchased from a pet store, Latte spent several months with her previous owners. During that time she also lived with 4 very active children under the age of 8 who did not respect her personal space. Overwhelmed and overstimulated, Latte began acting out, a nip here, a temper tantrum there. Quite what you might expect when a puppy is taken away from its mother too early, placed in a pet store and then brought into a family that is not suitable for her. Given away by her 1st owners, Latte was shuffled through 2 more families in 3 days before ending up with a Good Samaritan who contacted us. By this time, Latte was anxious, scared and desperate to exert control over her out of control life. Quite a burden for a 7-month-old puppy!
Fast forward 4 months and Latte has blossomed into a calm and confident young lady. She is learning to tolerate increasing amounts of attention without getting overwhelmed and hasn’t acted out with a tantrum in quite some time. She has wonderful house manners, is perfectly housebroken and happily co-exists in her foster home with the ever changing group of dogs her foster mom is working with. Health-wise, she is quite healthy, although she recently underwent knee surgery. She is healing well and there is no reason to expect any lasting problems, although her future family should be aware and watchful of her knees.
Because of her previous negative experiences, children in her forever home should be older, dog-savvy and respectful of her space. Latte will never be a dog that you can hug and shower with kisses, so young children would not be a good match for her. She does well with felines.
Latte enjoys her toys and wandering around the backyard with her canine pals. She won’t say no to a good sunbeam, and enjoys spending time on the couch with you watching tv or taking a nap. As she continues her sessions with FBRN trainer, there is a requirement, that future forever family lives within 3 hours of her trainer in New Haven, CT. This will enable Latte to continue the progress she has made, as well as allow her to get to know her future family before going to live with them.
